  • We are a week away from graduation. We’ll have our final exam this Saturday. Please help your kids prepare and be sure to arrive on time.

  • Come for the pig roast and join our annual end of school barbecue on Sunday, June 9th. Fee is $10 for adult and $5 for kids. Stop by the admin desk to register.

  • This will be the last week for early registration. Don’t miss your opportunity to earn a $30 discount.

  • CACA Chinese Culture Camp is open to registration. Space is limited, please submit your application ASAP. If you have any questions, please stop by our admin desk or visit our event page for more information http://www.mjcs.us/event-1.

  • The OCAC/TECO 2019 "Teaching English in Taiwan" program is open to registration.  All Applicant needs to be in 11th grade or higher, and older than 17 (by 11/30/2019). If you are interested, please visit https://teenage.ocac.gov.tw/Default.aspx

PTO Newsletter for 6/1/19

  1. Congratulations to Sylvia Wu who was elected as PTO Chairperson for the 2019-2020 school year, and to Mira Huang, Joyce Lee and Jennifer Ho who were elected as the new Vice-Chairs!

  2. The following classes will be participating in the Graduation Ceremony on June 8th:  Chinese 101, PC8 and 10A. The parents of all graduating students need to stop by the PTO/Admin table in the Cafetorium and reserve their cap and gown rental for the graduation ceremony.  There is a $20 deposit for the cap/gown and a rental fee of $7.  The rental fee will include a 2019 gold keepsake charm and tassel for each student to keep.  

  3. If you have completed your two PTO activities for the year, please stop by the PTO desk in the Cafetorium to request your deposit be returned.  The last day to get your deposit back is June 8, 2019.  If you haven't completed your two PTO activities, we are still looking for volunteers to help with graduation.  Please watch your email for the sign-up.

  4. Stock up for the summer and help support the school by purchasing ShopRite, Hmart and 99 Ranch Market gift cards at face value.  5%-6% of all gift card sales will be donated to the school.  Gift cards can be purchased at the PTO table in the Cafetorium.

  5. Food vendors will be in the Cafetorium lobby from 11:00am-12:30pm. This week's food vendors are:
    - Domoko Sushi Ramen: teriyaki lunch boxes, ramen soup, and sushi rolls
    - Happy Family: assorted appetizers and lunch boxes

  2. 以下班級將準備出席參加六月八日的畢業典禮:基礎中文班101,實用中文班8年級,以及傳統中文班10年級。請上述班級家長到家長會預訂畢業禮服及禮帽。訂金是$20,租款是$7. 訂金將在歸還禮服及禮帽是退回,租款將換得紀念鍊及帽穗一份、永久保留。

  3. 會將在下週六舉辦母親節早餐義賣活動!大部分餐點定價是1-2美元.請大家踴躍購買、贊助家長會活動!也歡迎捐贈自製美食!請留意您的電子郵件信箱,登記參與!

  4. 如果您已經擔任了兩次家長會活動義工的話,請洽家長會取回押金。
